Android Oreo will be released on 21 August 2017

Google is releasing Android Oreo ie. version 8 of the mobile operating system on 21 August 2017.

This OS will be loaded with many new features. We are listing some of the top features:

1. Better Battery Life 

•  Battery life will be improved 

•  You will get battery percentage indicator in status bar

2. Improved Boot time

3. Smart Text selection 

• On tap, it will allow you to select complete address or First name of last of person

• Direct Calling option on selecting phone number

4. New system icons

5. New clean setting menu and new categories

6. Notification snooze for each app

7. Picture in Picture

• This feature will allow you to watch the youtube video while calling or surfing the web on Chrome. 

8. New "Google Play Protect"

• This feature will allow to scan apps on your mobile and report you if there are any security issues with it.
