Batch Input Concept:
A batch input session is a set of one or more calls to transactions along with the data to be processed by the transactions. The system normally executes the transactions in a session non-interactively, allowing rapid entry of bulk data into an SAP system.
batch input sessions are subject to the user-based authorization checking that is performed by the system.
Steps:
1. Create Batch input sessions using SAP Provided the T-codes.
2. Process Batch Input session (Manual or Automatically)
à T-code SM35 allows you to process the batch input session created but it is not advised to give this access to business users due to it is wide access.
à it Is advised to schedule a background batch job for the program RSBDCSUB.
3. Analyze the error logs
à SAP allows to analyze/display or correct the error log using T-code SM35
à If SM35 access can not be given to business, then use T-code SM35P
